Now, the Aqua Rite Chlorine Generator has made chlorine hassles obsolete.
Chlorine is a Dangerous Hassle
Any chlorine that is used for pool maintenance always contains chemical byproducts that act as binders and stabilizers. The reason for this is that chemically, chlorine will rapidly break down in your pool - especially in the presence of sunlight. The chemical stabilizers prevent the chlorine from decomposing prematurely.
Unfortunately, it is these chemical stabilizers which are responsible for the red eyes and itchy skin that is often associated with chlorine pools.
But there are other problems with chlorine maintenance. If you have owned and maintained a pool for any length of time, you know what a hassle it can be to constantly monitor and adjust chlorine levels in your pool. Also, storing chlorine can be dangerous if you have small children or pets. They can come into contact with this caustic chemical – sometimes with unfortunate results.
Chlorine Generators Free You from Chlorine
Chlorine generators - sometimes also known as salt chlorine generators or salt chlorinators - completely eliminate the problems associated with chlorine maintenance. They actually create chlorine and pump it into the pool through the pool’s pump and filtration system. Aqua Rite has perfected this technology with its patented electrolytic converter.
Here’s How It Works.
A small amount of common salt is added to the fresh water of your pool. The salt amounts to no more than a teaspoonful per gallon of fresh water. The Aqua Rite salt chlorinator then subjects the water to electrolysis using an extremely safe low voltage electrolytic converter. This breaks down the salt into fresh chlorine and a harmless compound of sodium.
After the chlorine does its job as a pool sanitizer, the salt is returned to the pool when the chlorine decomposes. Technically, this system is self-regenerating and requires no additional salt, although from a practical standpoint small amounts of salt may be added from time to time along with water because of water splash-out.
Use Aqua Rite and Don’t Even Think About Chlorine Again
The reason that the Aqua Rite system is the largest selling chlorine generation system in the world is that it uses the patented Turbo Cell ®. This easily installs into the pool’s return line and maximizes efficiency and water flow rates. It also cleans itself automatically by reversing polarity. Aqua Rite’s Turbo Cell ® makes pool maintenance worry-free and simple.
The Aqua Rite system has weatherproof connections inside its control door. It also uses a microprocessor which automates all of its functions so you don’t have to be a chemical engineer to run it.
It’s Safe
The Aquarite Chlorine Generator is NSF Certified, UL and cUL listed and has a three year warranty.

Experts say that making sure kids get plenty of exercise is of vital importance, and outdoor activities are the best form of exercise they can get. Making sure the kids get plenty of exercise while keeping them entertained and out of trouble can be a challenge. By having fun activities in your own backyard means the kids will want to stay home allowing you to keep an eye on them for safety.
An in-ground pool might be a popular choice, but there are many other less expensive alternatives that will keep the kids active and interested. One option is to have inflatable bouncers around and other inflatable activity centers. These are big outdoor toys that not only provide the exercise they need, but a lot of fun and entertainment for them too. Watching the kids play on them is a true joy for parents and the kids do get to have a great time. Between all the climbing and sliding, not only are they burning off all that excess energy that kids so often have in abundance, but they are getting that vital exercise which is so important for them to have during their formative years.
Not only do the kids enjoy the slide bouncers, but it makes a lot of sense from the parental side as well. Not only are you being a responsible parent, giving your kids the opportunity to exercise, getting them outside into the fresh air and sunshine, but by utilizing the inflatable slides and other inflatable activity centers, you can turn a limited back yard area into an unlimited play area. There are only a few steps: inflate, have fun, deflate and pack away. They aren’t like swings that take up a permanent space in your yard, they are completely mobile and easy to store making it like a new toy every summer.
Inflatable activity centers can be switched out from the slide to a pool to whatever other centers your kids may have an interest in, and because they are inflatable, they are substantially less expensive than their “permanent” counterparts. The value of an inflatable play center cannot be beat. The enjoyment gotten from the different set up options as well as the opportunity to be outside are just two of the reasons they are worth every penny!
Little Tikes is the leader in children’s toys distribution throughout the world. If you love the outdoors, Little Tikes has the perfect solution to staying cool with their outdoor inflatable water slides and pools! Have fun while you beat the heat!

I bought a house recently with a swimming pool. There are various hoses, a motor, filter, swimming pool pumps etc. in the shed, but having never owned a pool before, I don’t know exactly how to hook everything up. I haven’t tried hooking anything up yet, so maybe everything comes together in an obvious way. It has a sand filter and also a heater.
Any other tips on opening the pool as far as how to properly add the chemicals? The water isn’t horrible, but is pretty murky, smells a little.

I just opened my swimming pool, and there was engine oil in one of the bottles which should have had pool chemicals in it. I did not realize it was engine oil until i started putting it into my pool. Any ideas on how to clear the oil out of my pool? Thanks.
Those homeowners who are considering installing a swimming pool should be sure to check with several good installers to determine the best type of swimming pool for their home. While many people think first of the in ground swimming pool when they think about a swimming pool, there are many other kinds of pools as well.
An in ground swimming pool can be a great addition to the back yard, but the in ground swimming pool is not the right choice for every person. An in ground swimming pool can be very expensive to install, and it can take up a great deal of space as well. In addition, it may take quite some time to have an in ground swimming pool installed, so it is important to plan accordingly.
The other choice, of course, is to install a quality above ground swimming pool. Above ground swimming pools run the gamut, from foot deep kiddies pools to swimming pools that are nearly as large and as deep as those vaunted in ground swimming pools. No matter which type of swimming pool you choose, it is important to plan for it carefully. There are some above ground swimming pools that can be installed by the homeowner on his or her own, while some of the larger above ground swimming pools may require the help of a swimming pool contractor. It is important to determine if help is needed and to ask for that help if needed.
Finally, after the swimming pool is in place, the homeowner should be sure to put up a high fence around the swimming pool in order to prevent accidental drowning. Most municipalities around the country require that a swimming pool be fenced, but the height of fence specified varies from area to area. Be sure to research local laws before installing your swimming pool, and then dive right in.
